In recent years, imaging techniques have improved enormously. This leads to a decrease in stress testing indication for diagnosis and management of coronary artery diseases. However, stress testing remains an indispensable diagnostic tool for assessing patients' physical activity and their circulatory behavior during exercise. Using stress testing helps to assess patients' heart rate behavior or even to detect or trigger cardiac arrhythmias, for example, assessment of chronotropic competency, tachycardia-triggering or detection of a sudden heart rate drop with relevant bradycardia. The present review focuses on the assessment of stress testing in rhythmology. Since abnormal findings, which may indicate the presence of coronary heart disease, may occur during exercise testing, relevant ischemic criteria are also briefly addressed.

The search for neuroprotective compounds in lavender is driven by its traditional use for brain health, with antioxidant activity serving as a key mechanism in reducing oxidative stress and supporting cognitive function. Lavender's potential to protect neurons is based on its calming, anti-stress properties, which increase the brain's resistance to neurodegeneration. Although lavender is not a traditional medicinal plant in Ukraine, it is increasingly recognised for its medicinal properties and is widely cultivated in the country.

This study investigates the potential synergistic effects of extracts from (turmeric), (Arabica coffee beans), and (chili peppers) in reducing oxidative stress and inflammation, which are associated with metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Using a systematic design of experiment (DoE) optimization approach, an optimal extract ratio of 1:3:4 (turmeric: coffee: chili) was identified. The efficacy of the extract combination was assessed through various antioxidant assays, inhibition of inflammation-related gene expression, and safety testing via the 3-(4,5-dimethylthazolk-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay.

Background: Both listening to music during warm-up and consuming caffeine before exercise have been independently shown to enhance athletic performance. However, the potential synergistic effects of combining these strategies remain largely unexplored. To date, only two studies have reported additional benefits to combining music during warm-up with a caffeine dose of 3 mg/kg on taekwondo-specific performance tasks.

Physical Activity (PA) provides numerous biological and psychological benefits, especially for cancer patients. PA mitigates treatment side effects, influences hormones, inflammation, adiposity, and immune function, and reduces symptoms of anxiety, depression, and fatigue. This study evaluates the impact of PA on these positive outcomes.
