Department of Radiology, Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York, New York.
Background: Radiographic imaging of the abdomen and pelvis plays an important role in the diagnosis and management of ileal pouch disorders with modalities including CT, MRI, contrasted pouchography, and defecography.
Objectives: To perform a systematic review of the literature and describe applications of cross-sectional imaging, pouchography, defecography, and ultrasonography.

Rationale And Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of educating radiology residents and radiographers about radiation exposure on reduction of dose area product (DAP) and fluoroscopy time in diagnostic fluoroscopy of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in adult patients.
Materials And Methods: In April 2015, we offered 1 hour of education to radiology residents and radiographers on how to reduce radiation doses during fluoroscopic examinations. Fluoroscopic examinations of the GI tracts of adult patients performed from June 2014 to February 2016 were evaluated.

Purpose: To evaluate the use of simultaneous defecography and peritoneography (defecoperitoneography) in patients with an unexplained widening of the rectovaginal space noted at defecography.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-two patients with unexplained widening of the rectovaginal space noted at defecography were studied with defecoperitoneography. Defecoperitoneography was a combination of defecography and peritoneography with water-soluble contrast medium administered intraperitoneally.
