Multiple resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescent (MR-TADF) materials offer higher color purity than conventional TADF materials but suffer from aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) and rarely exhibit red emission. Herein, two malononitrile-substituted emitters are synthesized from a quinolino[3,2,1-]acridine-5,9-dione () MR-TADF precursor. Both materials maintain MR-TADF, while they display red-shifted fluorescence. They also overcome ACQ, displaying enhanced emission upon aggregation in solution and forming red-emissive J-aggregates in the solid state with photoluminescent quantum yields of 9 and 11%.

Purpose: To investigate the effect of concomitant chronic lateral ankle instability (CLAI) on postoperative clinical outcomes in patients with osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLTs).
Methods: Patients who underwent surgery for OLTs between January 2018 and May 2022 were retrospectively evaluated. OLT procedures involved debridement, microfracture, or bone grafting, while concomitant CLAI underwent lateral ligament repair or reconstruction.

Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is divided into Relapsing-Remitting (RRMS) and Progressive (PMS) phenotypes, both associated with spinal cord (SC) damage. MS-related disability and SC atrophy are not yet fully understood and can differ across phenotypes. A combined approach using Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) could provide a broader understanding of myelin changes in the cervical SC (CSC) in different MS phenotypes and the associations with disability.

Pulsed dipolar electron paramagnetic resonance (PD-EPR) measurement is a powerful technique for characterizing the interactions and conformational changes of biomolecules. The extraction of these distance restraints from PD-EPR experiments relies on manipulation of spin-spin pairs. The orthogonal spin labeling approach offers unique advantages by providing multiple distances between different spin-spin pairs.

Shear mode ultrasonic waves are in high demand for structural health monitoring (SHM) applications owing to their nondispersive characteristics, singular mode, and minimal energy loss, especially in harsh environments. However, the generation and detection of a pure shear wave using conventional piezoelectric materials present substantial challenges because of their complex piezoelectric response, involving multiple modes. Herein, we introduce a high-quality piezoelectric crystal BiSiO (BSO), exhibiting a robust piezoelectric response ( = 45.
