There are several types of inflammatory myopathies, including juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM), which is characterized by muscle inflammation that can eventually lead to weakness. A devastating complication of JDM is macrophage activation syndrome (MAS), although reports of MAS in JDM patients are limited. Additionally, cases of JDM associated with positive anti-MDA5 are rare and represent a fatal subtype of inflammatory myopathies, with a significant risk of lung impairment.

Vulvo-vaginal-oral lichen planus (VVO-LP) is a chronic inflammatory condition affecting the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, skin, and genital areas. The exact etiology remains unclear, although immune-mediated mechanisms are considered likely contributors. It is a rare form of lichen planus, which typically presents in adults and is more common in middle-aged women.

Foreign body granuloma (FBG) is an inflammatory reaction to an exogenous agent. This entity is well known on the cutaneous organ but very rarely described in the abdominal cavity. Erosive pustular dermatosis is a rare and chronic inflammatory condition of the scalp which can be mistaken for cutaneous malignancy, precancerous lesions, dermatitis or pyoderma gangrenosum. The recurrent and resistant characteristics of erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp pose a challenge to successful management and remission of the condition. The purpose of this case report is to provide management options and treatment recommendations for refractory cases of erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp.

Autoinflammatory bone diseases (AIBDs) constitute a recently identified subset of autoinflammatory diseases. These conditions are characterized by an exaggerated inflammatory response in the bones without any apparent etiology. Inflammatory bone lesions associated with AIBDs exhibit chronic inflammation, are typically culture-negative, and do not exhibit discernible microorganisms on histopathological examination.
