A patient with severe chronic gastritis and duodenitis that clinically and endoscopically disappeared after an intestinal revascularization procedure is reported. Chronic intestinal ischemia appears to be a cause of gastritis as seen in this patient.

Background: Although revascularization is first-line therapy for chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), there are no established treatments for patients in whom revascularization is not (or is a poor) option, including CLTI that has responded poorly to revascularization. This study verified the efficacy of the Rheocarna, a novel apheresis device, for no-option CLTI or poor-response CLTI after revascularization.
Methods And Results: This multicenter retrospective observational study analyzed 221 patients (221 limbs) with no- or poor-option CLTI (mean [±SD] age 71±10 years; males, 70.

Objectives: Studies comparing alternative autologous vein grafts (AAVG) to single-segment great saphenous vein (ssGSV) grafts report mixed results. The status of AAVG as first choice when ssGSV is unavailable is not unequivocal, based on current evidence. Our study compares results between AAVG and ssGSV in lower extremity bypass surgery.

Background: Stroke remains a leading cause of mortality and disability among adults. Given the restricted therapeutic window for intravascular interventions and neuroprotection during the acute phase, there has been a growing focus on tissue repair and functional recovery in the subacute and chronic phases after stroke. The pro-inflammatory microglial polarization occurs in subacute and chronic phases after stroke and may represent therapeutic targets for stroke recovery.

Aims: The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of GNRI on clinical outcomes following EVT in CLTI regarding the severities of RD.
Methods: We enrolled 705 consecutive CLTI cases treated with EVT between January 2010 and December 2019 at our hospital.

Atherosclerotic peripheral artery disease (PAD), that is, arteriosclerosis obliterans, is pathologically rooted in atherosclerosis, similar to other cardiovascular diseases. In addition to smoking, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus is a major risk factor. People with diabetes mellitus have an elevated risk of developing PAD.
