A decrease of the general physical working capacity leads to an increase in blood flow rate in the resting m. gastrocnemius, reduces the maximal possible peak blood flow, causes a fall in the total blood volume in the muscle during the recovery period, increases deposition of blood in the veins, their distensibility and capacity, increases the capillary filtration coefficient.
