spp. often form mutualistic interactions with cool-season grasses, such as . However, the molecular mechanisms underlying this interaction remain poorly understood. In this study, we employed reduced representation bisulfite sequencing method (epiGBS) to investigate the impact of the sp. TG-3 strain AR37 on the methylome of across multiple grass generations and under drought stress conditions. Our results showed that the presence of the endophyte leads to a decrease in DNA methylation across genomic features, with differentially methylated regions primarily located in intergenic regions and CHH contexts. The presence of the endophyte was consistently associated with hypomethylation in plants across generations. This research sheds new light on the molecular mechanisms governing the mutualistic interaction between sp. TG-3 strain AR37 and . It underscores the role of methylation changes associated with endophyte infection and suggests that the observed global DNA hypomethylation in may be influenced by factors such as the duration of the endophyte-plant association and the accumulation of genetic and epigenetic changes over time.

Three dsRNA segments were detected in Fusarium pseudograminearum strain CF14029, a pathogen causing Fusarium crown rot in China. Characterization and sequence analysis confirmed that these dsRNA sequences originated from the same virus. The viral genome consists of three dsRNA segments: dsRNA1 (3,560 nt in length), encoding an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), dsRNA2 (2,544 nt in length), encoding a hypothetical protein, and dsRNA3 (2,478 nt in length), encoding a putative coat protein (CP).

To investigate the acute clinical, immunological, and corneal nerve changes following corneal HSV-1 KOS-63 strain inoculation. Corneas of C57BL/6 mice were inoculated with either low dose (Ld) or high dose (Hd) HSV-1 KOS-63 or culture medium. Clinical evaluation was conducted up to 7 days post inoculation (dpi).

We previously described a transgenic mouse line (TG-3) that spontaneously develops pigmented cutaneous melanoma. The generation of several albino mice that developed amelanotic melanoma has also been reported. In this report, we describe an unanticipated result with crosses between C57BL/6-c2j and TG-3 mice.

Lack of characteristic pigmentation and a wide range of clinical presentations account for the diagnostic challenge associated with amelanotic malignant melanoma. Experimental studies of this important human cancer have been hampered by the lack of an appropriate animal model. We previously described a transgenic mouse line (TG-3) that spontaneously develops pigmented cutaneous melanoma.

We investigated the conversion of D,L-2-amino-Δ (2)-thiazoline-4-carboxylic acid (D,L-ATC) to L-cysteine with Pseudomonas sp. ON-4a, an ATC-assimilating bacterium. Cysteine and N-carbamoylcysteine (NCC), but not S-carbamoylcysteine (SCC), were produced from D,L-ATC by a cell-free extract from the strain.
