Veterinary intervention in zoological species can be complicated by species-specific social dynamics. African wild dogs are a pack species and removal or separation of an individual may disrupt established pack hierarchy resulting in conspecific aggression. Therefore, medical interventions that optimize a quick return to health are ideal to minimize the duration of absence from the pack.

A key challenge in the art and archaeological field is the instrumental analysis of objects and materials while preserving their integrity. In this study, the world-renowned artwork Alexander Mosaic (The Issus Battle, collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, IT), the most iconic representation of the face of the Macedonian king Alexander the Great coming from a Pompeii domus, was thoroughly analyzed with mobile and non-invasive methods, within a great project of restoration started in 2020. Representative areas of the Mosaic, overall consisting of ca.

During production, harvested cell culture fluid (HCCF) can degrade due to reductases breaking interchain disulfide bonds, forming low molecular weight (LMW) impurities that contain free sulfhydryl and high molecular weight (HMW) impurities through disulfide shuffling. Thus, detecting and quantifying the free sulfhydryl increase in HCCF is critical. Herein, Raman spectroscopy is implemented as a process analytical technology, and multivariate data analysis is applied to characterize and quantify sulfhydryl formation in HCCF with disulfide-containing indicator molecules.

Recent advances in cellular therapies have paved the way for innovative treatments of various cancers and autoimmune disorders. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) represent a remarkable breakthrough, offering the potential to generate patient-specific cell types for personalized as well as allogeneic therapies. This review explores the application of iPSC-derived chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells, a cutting-edge approach in allogeneic cancer immunotherapies.

Introduction: Although there have been qualitative meta-syntheses on experiences of eating disorders treatments, there is a paucity of syntheses specifically examining the perspectives and experiences of eating disorders treatments (ED) in East Asia (EA). Such synthesis could facilitate a better understanding of culture-specific perspectives and experiences. This review complements a quantitative scoping review published on ED treatments in EA (Yim & Schmidt, 2023), where most interventions reviewed focused on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and internet interventions.
