Background: Set against the backdrop of a rapidly ageing population and growing emphasis on the importance of ageing-in-place, family members often assume the role of a caregiver. Navigating through a complex healthcare system while simultaneously juggling the daily care needs of their care-recipients, caregivers often become worn out by the intense caregiver stress and burden, neglecting their own well-being. Methods: The cross-sectional study was conducted at the Army Medical College, National University of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, Pakistan, from June 15 to July 31, 2023, and comprised medical and dental students in public and private medical and dental colleges of Rawalpindi and Islamabad who had used the chatbot generative pretrained transformer programme at least once for their academics or had prior knowledge of it. Responses were obtained through a structured online survey.
