Background And Aim: Zinc oxide and copper oxide nanoparticles are known for their promising biological activities. This study aims to synthesize zinc oxide nanoparticles and copper-doped zinc oxide nanoparticles to harness the combined cytotoxic and anticancer effects of them in vitro and in vivo studies.
Methods: Zinc oxide nanoparticles, both doped and undoped, were synthesized using a chemical co-precipitation method.

Herein, an efficient and feasible approach was developed to oxidize low-cost agricultural waste (quinoa husk, QS) for the synthesis of carboxylated nanocellulose (CNC). The as-prepared rod-like CNCs (average diameter of 10 nm and length of 103 nm) with a high specific surface area (173 m/g) were utilized for the immobilization of a model protease enzyme (PersiProtease1) either physically or via covalent attachment. For chemical immobilization, CNCs were firstly functionalized with N, N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) to provide DCNCs nanocarrier which could covalently bond to enzyme trough nucleophilic substitution reaction and formation of the amide bond between DCNCs and enzyme.

Peptides possess a remarkable propensity to adopt distinct morphologies, ranging from simple aggregates to complex structures such as fibrils and nanotubes. Morphology transformation in peptides is intricately linked to the physicochemical properties of peptides and external factors such as pH, temperature, and solvent conditions. Thus, it is more complex.

Both nanocellulose and graphene nanosheets serve as exceptional fillers for biopolymers. However, there are limited materials that effectively combine the properties of these two fillers in Poly (propylene carbonate) (PPC) to enhance their overall properties. This study presents a meticulous approach to producing graphitized nanocellulose (GCNC) with tailored rod-like (R-GCNC) and spheres-like (S-GCNC) under low-temperature and ambient-pressure conditions.

Soft materials are ideal candidates for creating tunable, self-assembled architectures. Composite materials are elaborately designed with an unusual physical performance that combines solid nanostructures and orientationally ordered soft matter. Such composites can not only inherit properties of their constituents but also exhibit excellent conductivity.
