Background: Uniportal spine endoscopy is a minimally invasive technique gaining widespread popularity, but fluid insufflation during the procedure poses risks of neurological deterioration. The present study examines these risks through a case series and literature review.
Methods: A review of the literature was conducted to identify reported complications related to fluid insufflation.

Traditional mRNA vaccine formulation loaded by lipid nanoparticle (mRNA-LNP) has several shortcomings in clinical application, including the need for cryopreservation, discomfort associated with intramuscular injections, and the risk of liver aggregation. Dissolvable microneedles (DMNs), as a novel transdermal drug delivery platform, can overcome the skin barrier to deliver drugs directly into the skin in a minimally invasive manner. However, mRNA-LNP is unstable and easily degraded during the solidification of DMN.

To investigate the correlation between different prenatal imaging techniques in congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and their prognostic value.209 fetuses with CDH were enrolled in this retrospective cohort study. The prenatal ultrasound-based and MRI-based (MRI: magnetic resonance imaging) observed-to-expected lung-to-head ratio (o/e-LHR) and MRI-based relative fetal lung volume (rFLV) were evaluated and compared.

Robotic gastrectomy is a safe and minimally invasive approach that may reduce the risk of complications in patients with severely impaired pulmonary function. Here, we report the successful treatment of an 80-year-old patient with gastric cancer and myasthenia gravis(MG)using perioperative respiratory rehabilitation and robotic gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy. Patients with gastric cancer and severe pulmonary dysfunction are at a risk of postoperative respiratory disorders, including severe pneumonia.
