The prokaryotic generic names Bruns . 2001 and Bernard . 2022 are illegitimate because they are later homonyms of the genus names Small 1903 (synonym of ; ) and Stewart and Hendrix 1945 (a Devonian ostracod genus) and Lenz 1973 (a Devonian brachiopod genus), respectively (Principle 2 and Rule 51b(4) of the International Code of Nomenclature of Prokaryotes). We therefore propose the replacement generic names and , with type species and , respectively.

Here, we construct a set of 10 adenine and cytosine BEs with high activity and broad targeting scope, and comprehensively evaluate their editing profiles and properties head-to-head with 34,040 BE-gRNA-target combinations using genomically integrated long targets and tiling gRNA strategies. Interestingly, we observe widespread non-canonical protospacer adjacent motifs (PAMs) for these BEs.

Here, we demonstrate that inactivation of the DNA- and RNA-based Teazeled receptors of the Universal Receptive System in human leukocytes generated so called "Leukocyte-Tells," which showed enhanced AABC production. Comprehensive analysis of the AABCs produced by Leukocyte-Tells based on LC/MS identified 707 unique or differentially produced peptide or non-peptide metabolites.

Methods: The clinical data of rectal cancer patients admitted to the General Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University between January 2021 and December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.
