High Preoperative T1 Slope is a Marker for Global Sagittal Malalignment.

Clin Spine Surg

January 2025

Department of Orthopedic Surgery, NYU Langone Health, New York, NY.

Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.

Objective: To develop parameter thresholds obtainable from cervical radiographs that correlate with concomitant thoracolumbar malalignment.

Summary Of Background Data: T1 slope (T1S) is typically discussed in the context of cervical deformity and correlated with health-related quality of life outcomes.

Background: Previous research on spinal alignment and postoperative outcomes after cervical and upper thoracic fixation has suggested that clinical and patient-reported outcomes are improved when certain anatomical parameters are maintained. These parameters include the cervical sagittal vertical axis (cSVA), C2 and T1 slopes, and cervical lordosis (CL). For patients with primary and metastatic tumors involving the subaxial cervical and/or upper thoracic spine, there is minimal guidance on how to apply these parameters.

Modulating memristors optically paves the way for new optoelectronic devices with applications in computer vision, neuromorphic computing, and artificial intelligence. Here, we report on memristors based on a hybrid material of vertically aligned zinc oxide nanorods (ZnO NRs) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). The memristors require no forming step and exhibit the typical electronic switching properties of a bipolar memristor.

To analyze the influence of cervical range of motion on the preferable sagittal vertical axis in ankylosis spondylitis (AS)-related thoracolumbar kyphosis following single-level pedicle subtraction osteotomy (PSO). The clinical data of sixty-five AS patients who underwent single-level PSO from February 2012 to November 2018 in the Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School were retrospectively reviewed. Of the patients, 59 were males and 6 were females with a mean age of (34.

Statement Of Problem: Different factors affect 3-dimensionally (3D) printed resin products. However, evidence on the effect of the print orientation on resin dental devices is lacking.

Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to assess the impact of print orientation on the properties and accuracy of 3D printed implant surgical guides, occlusal devices, clear orthodontic retainers, and aligners.
