Bankart lesions, or anterior-inferior glenoid labral tears, are diagnostically challenging on standard MRIs due to their subtle imaging features-often necessitating invasive MRI arthrograms (MRAs). This study develops deep learning (DL) models to detect Bankart lesions on both standard MRIs and MRAs, aiming to improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce reliance on MRAs. We curated a dataset of 586 shoulder MRIs (335 standard, 251 MRAs) from 558 patients who underwent arthroscopy.

Purpose: Cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) has significantly advanced the visualization of cardiac structures, particularly valves. We assessed the diagnostic performance of CCTA in diagnosing the most common disorders affecting the aortic valves requiring surgery-papillary fibroelastoma, infective endocarditis, and degeneration.
Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent aortic valve resection between 2016 and 2023 and had a preceding CCTA.

Numerous obstacles confront radiologists interested in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) models within the field of radiology. For example, discrepancies between the radiologist's and an AI developer's hardware and software specifications pose a substantial hindrance to using AI models. Additionally, accessing and using GPU computers can lead to compatibility issues and add to these challenges.

Mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalopathy (MNGIE) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder, manifesting with gastrointestinal dysmotility, cachexia, ptosis and peripheral neuropathy. Diffuse leukoencephalopathy in brain MRI is a hallmark of MNGIE. We report a case of a 21-year-old female with MNGIE, presenting with cachexia and chronic diarrhea.

Background: Intraoral radiography remains the most widely employed dental radiographic technique for producing geometrically accurate images with minimal distortion and magnification. Despite its common use in the dental office, incorrect projection geometry can be challenging leading to image distortions. To mitigate these inaccuracies specific radiographic landmarks on the face are utilized during periapical radiography.
