Chemical investigation of soft coral the collected from the South China Sea led to the identification of four new cembranes, namely sarcoeleganolides H-K (-). Their structures and absolute configurations were established by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, quantum chemical calculations of NMR chemical shifts and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) data analysis. Moreover, compound exhibited moderate anti-thrombotic activity in zebrafish.
