Background: Many previous studies on orbito-ocular lesions are skewed in favour of the neoplastic lesions in general and the malignant lesions in particular. This, therefore, creates a vacuum on the spectrum of these lesions, thus may result in problematic diagnostic bias by the ophthalmologist and pathologist.
Objective: To give the spectrum and relative frequencies of orbito-ocular biopsies and by extension orbito-ocular lesions/diseases at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).

Background: Orbito-ocular tumors are rare, but they cause significant morbidity and mortality. There are reported variations in their pattern of presentation and frequency of occurrence.
Objective: To evaluate the occurrence, clinico-pathologic spectrum, and patterns of orbito-ocular neoplasms as well as the treatment and outcome profiles.

The orbits and eyes of modern humans are situated directly below the frontal lobes and anterior to the temporal lobes. Contiguity between these orbital and cerebral elements could generate spatial constraints, and potentially lead to deformation of the eye and reduced visual acuity during development. In this shape analysis we evaluate whether and to what extent covariation exists between ocular morphology and the size and spatial position of the frontal and temporal areas in adult modern humans.

Aim: The aim of this study was to review the cases of orbito-ocular tumors in a single tertiary health facility, and determine changes in pattern of presentation.
Methods: Medical records of all patients with histologically confirmed orbito-ocular tumors between January 1992 and December 2011 in a tertiary center were reviewed. Patients' demographics, types of orbito-ocular tumor and their presentation were recorded.
