Background: Previously, we demonstrated that changes in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) are promising biomarkers for early response prediction (ERP) to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) in metastatic urothelial cancer (mUC). In this study, we investigated the value of whole blood immunotranscriptomics for ERP-ICI and integrated both biomarkers into a multimodal model to boost accuracy.
Methods: Blood samples of 93 patients were collected at baseline and after 2-6 weeks of ICI for ctDNA (N=88) and immunotranscriptome (N=79) analyses.

Importance: An accurate noninvasive biomarker test is needed for the early diagnosis of bladder cancer.
Objective: To evaluate the performance of a urinary DNA methylation test (PENK methylation) and compare its diagnostic accuracy with that of the nuclear matrix protein 22 (NMP22) test or urine cytology test.
Design, Setting, And Participants: In this prospective multicenter study at 10 sites in the Republic of Korea, individuals 40 years and older with hematuria undergoing cystoscopy within 3 months between March 11, 2022, and May 30, 2024, participated.

Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), a technique capable of capturing functional and molecular information, has been widely adopted in theranostics applications across various fields, including cardiology, neurology, and oncology. The spatial resolution of SPECT imaging is relatively poor, which poses a significant limitation, especially the visualization of small lesions. The main factors affecting the limited spatial resolution of SPECT include projection sampling techniques, hardware and software.

Peripheral pulmonary lesions (PPLs) present a significant diagnostic challenge due to their location beyond the reach of traditional bronchoscopy. With lung cancer being the leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, accurate and early diagnosis of PPLs is crucial. Virtual bronchoscopic navigation (VBN) combined with radial endobronchial ultrasound (R-EBUS) has emerged as a promising technique to enhance the diagnostic yield for these lesions.

Background: Ovarian cancer is one of the top seven causes of cancer deaths. Incidence of ovarian cancer varies by ethnicity, where Asian women demonstrate lower incidence rates than non-Hispanic Blacks and Whites. Survival prediction models for ovarian cancer have been developed for Caucasians and Black populations using national databases; however, whether these models work for Asians is unclear.
