Introduction: Maxillofacial trauma treatment involves maxillomandibular fixation. Despite reduced need for post-operative MMF with plating devices, temporary intraoperative MMF is still necessary for proper tooth positioning. The aim of this research is to evaluate the cost-effectiveness, impact on patient gingival health, glove perforation, and time required for utilizing the Ultra Lock Ezy Bar compared to Erich's Arch Bar.

Background: Olecranon fractures account for 8 ∼ 10% of all elbow fractures and usually require surgical intervention. Tension band wiring (TBW) is considered as the standard treatment while it is associated with high re-operation rates.
Objective: This study aims to compare the functional outcomes, complications and re-operations of hook plate fixation (HPF) versus TBW in treating Mayo Type II olecranon fractures.

Objective: To compare the short-term clinical efficacy and safety of closed reduction with Kirschner wire fixation versus open reduction with plate fixation for treating osteoporotic Colles' fractures in middle-aged and elderly patients.
Methods: Between January 2018 and January 2023, 119 patients with Colles fractures were retrospectively analyzed, including 39 males and 80 females, aged from 48 to 74 years old with an average of(60.58±6.

Objective: The treatment of comminuted inferior pole patellar fractures has long posed a challenge for orthopedic surgeons. This study aims to compare the biomechanical stability and clinical efficacy of Kirschner wire tension band combined with anchor cross-suture fixation versus traditional partial patellectomy in the treatment of comminuted inferior pole patellar fractures.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 14 patients who underwent Kirschner wire tension band combined with anchor cross-suture fixation (Group A) in our department of orthopedics from September 2020 to April 2022.
