Background: Pelvic trauma can have long-lasting debilitating effects, including severe erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. While there are effective treatments for ED, these treat the symptoms not the cause. Those who suffer from an acute traumatic injury to the neurovascular supply of penis, may benefit from regenerative therapy.

Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a critical condition that arises when clots migrate to the lungs, obstructing pulmonary circulation and posing a significant risk to the patient's health. While the D-dimer test is useful for excluding PE, it is not infallible. This report describes a case where extensive PE was present despite the patient having a normal D-dimer level, emphasizing the importance of a thorough clinical evaluation.

A woman in her mid-70s presented with worsening dyspnoea, cough and fatigue initially treated for pneumonia. Despite antibiotics, her condition deteriorated, prompting further investigation. Medical history included previous breast implants, the latter of which had ruptured years earlier and was subsequently removed prior to the current presentation.

Paired box 2 ()-related disorder, also known as renal coloboma syndrome, is a variably penetrant autosomal dominant condition, associated with renal and ophthalmological abnormalities. We report a child with -related disorder who presented atypically with acute ataxia on a background of stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Extensive biochemical, radiological and gene agnostic rapid trio exome sequencing was non-diagnostic.

Purpose: Behavioral and neurobiological abnormalities in addiction and obesity have led to the theory of food addiction in obesity (FAOB) and brain-behavior association studies. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) studies and treats various brain disorders. Cortico-cortical paired associative stimulation TMS protocol, in which left lateral prefrontal cortex (LPFC) stimulation follows right LPFC stimulation, can reduce emotional reactivity to visual triggers and modulate prefrontal asymmetry in healthy adults.
