Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, posing a significant threat to human health. Although immunotherapy has shown promise in cancer treatment, its efficacy is often compromised by tumor immune evasion, which hinders treatment outcomes. Therefore, combining immunotherapy with other therapeutic approaches to enhance its effectiveness has become an increasingly accepted strategy in clinical practice.

Background: Central venous catheters (CVCs) are used in pediatric patients to deliver IV fluids, blood products, medications, and nutrients. Potential complications include central line infection, which carries a high risk of morbidity and mortality in this population. Pediatric critical care nurses play a crucial role in helping to reduce the risk of infection.

Background: For mothers identified as HIV-infected, recommended infant feeding practices must prioritize the highest likelihood of ensuring HIV-free survival for their children while preserving maternal health. Consequently, understanding the feeding status during critical infancy stages, especially under the risk of HIV, plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life within this specific population segment. Hence, this study was conducted to assess the magnitude and associated factors of recommended infant feeding practices and its associated factors among HIV-positive mothers in Eastern Ethiopian Hospitals.

Objectives: To investigate the impact of different pretreatment strategies and cleaning methods on the cleaning efficacy of electrosurgical instruments, aiming to propose an optimal protocol.
Methods: A total of 573 electrosurgical instruments were collected from three large-scale hospitals within two hours post-use from December 2023 to July 2024. The instruments were categorized into six group: medical alkaline or multi-enzyme cleaner, or instant foam-type multi-enzyme humectant, followed by either manual cleaning or vacuum boiling washer.
