The development of diverse microstructures has substantially contributed to recent progress in high-performance electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption materials, providing a versatile platform for the modulation of absorption properties. Exploring multidimensional microstructures and developing tailored and gentle strategies for their precise optimization can substantially address the current challenges posed by relatively unclear underlying mechanisms. Here, a series of 2D/1D heterogeneous NiO@PPy composites featuring hollow hierarchical microstructures are successfully synthesized using a straightforward strategy combining sacrificial templating with chemical oxidative polymerization.

Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) have diverse effects on physical development and mental health. This study aimed to clarify the relationship between the quantity of ACE exposure, type of ACE exposure, and subjective level of stress felt, correlated with event-related potential activity across the scalp, while controlling for relevant confounding variables. Fifty-three participants aged 18-32 years completed questionnaires assessing their current mental health, self-regulation, childhood socioeconomic status, and history of traumatic events.

Orthotopic liver transplant (OLT) represents the standard of care for managing patients affected by end-stage and life-threatening liver diseases. Although a significant improvement in surgical techniques, immunosuppressant regimens, and prompt identification of early post-transplant complications resulted in better clinical outcome and survival in OLT recipients, the occurrence of early bacterial infections still represents a remarkable cause of morbidity and mortality. In this scenario, beta-lactams are the most frequent antimicrobials used in critical OLT recipients.

School of Mechatronical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, No. 5 Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District, Beijing, 100081 China.

Enhancing the accuracy of emotion recognition models through multimodal learning is a common approach. However, challenges such as insufficient modal feature learning in multimodal inference and scarcity of sample data continue to pose obstacles that need to be overcome. Therefore, we propose a novel adaptive lightweight multimodal efficient feature inference network (ALME-FIN).

We present, for the first time, to our knowledge, power splitters with multiple channel configurations in one-dimensional grating waveguides (1DGWs) that maintain crystal lattice-sensitive Bloch mode profiles without perturbation across all output channels, all within an ultra-miniaturized footprint of just 2.1 × 2.2 μm.
