Introduction: More extensive and cohesive studies on quadriceps tendon rupture (QTR) repair surgery are required to guide effective treatment strategies. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to identify predictors of subjective functional recovery following QTR repair surgery.

Materials And Methods: This multicentre retrospective cohort study enrolled 191 adults (age ≥ 18 years) who underwent surgical unilateral QTR repair (2010-2022) and had ≥ 1-year postoperative follow-up at three trauma centres in Germany.

This study aimed to evaluate the safety and outcomes of percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy (PDT) in critically ill patients with HM. : This retrospective cohort study included patients with HM who underwent PDT between 2012 and 2023 at a tertiary academic center.

The analysis of outcomes of 653 patients during 1 year after coronary artery bypass grafting is presented. In those patients who visited the study center after 1 year, markers of carbohydrate metabolism (glucose, glycated hemoglobin, fructosamine, 1.

Background: Previous studies have shown that allogeneic peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT) from an HLA haploidentical (haplo) donor followed by graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis with post-transplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy) results in lower relapse rates and improved DFS when compared to haplo bone marrow transplant (BMT) with PTCy. However, PBSCT leads to higher rates of GVHD. It is unknown whether the benefits of haplo PBSCT may be nullified in older patients (>60 years) by a higher susceptibility to GVHD and transplant related toxicity.

Department of Epidemiology, ASL TO3, Via Martiri XXX Aprile 30, 10093 Collegno (Turin), Italy.

This paper presents the results of the human biomonitoring of ten urinary OH-PAHs (hydroxylated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon) in a cohort of workers at an incinerator in Turin, Italy. Long-term exposure was assessed through repeated measurements at three time points: before the startup (T0), after 1 year (T1), and after 3 years (T2). Paired data were available for 26 subjects, seven administrative workers (AWs) and 19 plant workers (PWs).
