Introduction: The clinical utility of applying endoscopic vascular patterns in rectal neuroendocrine tumor (NET) remains unknown. The aims of this study were to develop a system for utilizing vascular patterns for tumor grade and submucosal invasion depth.
Methods: We retrospectively included patients diagnosed as well-differentiated rectal NET between March 2015 and February 2024.

Ga-DOTATOC PET/CT is a functional imaging modality that has revolutionized the evaluation of well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) by targeting somatostatin receptors. This technique has largely replaced conventional gamma camera imaging with 111In-labeled octreotide due to its superior sensitivity and resolution. While the physiologic distribution, normal variations, and common pitfalls associated with Ga-DOTATOC imaging are well documented, rare but clinically significant pitfalls can still occur.

Background: Numerous studies have indicated that the temozolomide and capecitabine regimen (TEMCAP) exhibits a certain level of efficacy in treating advanced, well-differentiated gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NET). However, published data from Peru are limited. We hypothesize that this regimen could be a viable therapeutic option for advanced GEP-NET in the Peruvian population.

Background: Pancreatic mixed neuroendocrine-non-neuroendocrine neoplasms (MiNENs) are rare malignancies affecting the pancreas. The World Health Organization defines MiNENs as neoplasms composed of morphologically recognizable neuroendocrine and non-neuroendocrine components, each constituting 30% or more of the tumor volume. Adenocarcinoma-neuroendocrine carcinoma is the most frequent MiNEN combination.

Background: The aim of our retrospective study was to describe the immunophenotypic characteristics of neuroendocrine breast neoplasm (BNEN), a peculiar and rare type of breast carcinoma.
Methods: Pathological data from 51 patients affected by BNEN were retrospectively evaluated, and 44 patients were considered eligible (7 patients with incomplete data were excluded). The patients were followed in six different Italian hospitals between 2009 and 2019.
