Case: A 49-year-old woman presented with low back pain after a work-related injury. She failed 5 months of conservative management and subsequently underwent minimally invasive (MI) left sacroiliac joint (SIJ) fusion with 3 triangular titanium implants. Four months postoperatively, she developed recurrence of symptoms and radiographic halo phenomenon about the implants. The cephalad and caudal implants were replaced with threaded self-tapping implants, and the middle implant was unable to be removed. At 7-year follow-up, the halo phenomenon had resolved.
Conclusion: This is an unusual case of radiographic halo phenomenon formation after MI SIJ fusion and halo resolution after subsequent revision.

Background And Purpose: Prior investigations have noted the presence of peritumoral hyperintense signal (a "halo") around vestibular schwannomas on postcontrast 3D T2 FLAIR images. This study evaluated this phenomenon in a cohort of patients undergoing stereotactic radiosurgery.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective review was completed of consecutive patients with presumed vestibular schwannomas undergoing stereotactic radiosurgery.
Background: Research on evaluating the efficacy of non-cultured epidermal cell suspension (NCECS) combined with excimer lamps for the treatment of vitiligo is currently unavailable. This research aims to evaluate the efficacy of this combination in treating vitiligo.
Methods: A prospective, controlled study was conducted from November 2021 to January 2024.

Using the Bρ-defined isochronous mass spectrometry technique, we report the first determination of the ^{23}Si, ^{26}P, ^{27}S, and ^{31}Ar masses and improve the precision of the ^{28}S mass by a factor of 11. Our measurements confirm that these isotopes are bound and fix the location of the proton dripline in P, S, and Ar. We find that the mirror energy differences of the mirror-nuclei pairs ^{26}P-^{26}Na, ^{27}P-^{27}Mg, ^{27}S-^{27}Na, ^{28}S-^{28}Mg, and ^{31}Ar-^{31}Al deviate significantly from the values predicted assuming mirror symmetry.

Many seabirds congregate in large colonies for breeding, a time when they are central place foragers. An influential idea in seabird ecology posits that competition during breeding results in an area of reduced prey availability around colonies, a phenomenon known as Ashmole's halo, and that this limits colony size. This idea has gained empirical support, including the finding that species coexisting within a colony might be able to do so by foraging on a single prey species but at different distances.

Although melanocytic nevi have a relatively uneventful course throughout their existence, some may develop an inflammatory reaction known as the Meyerson phenomenon. Initially, the Meyerson phenomenon has been exclusively described in melanocytic nevi. However, it has since been observed in both pigmented and non-pigmented lesions, thus expanding the description from Meyerson nevus to the phenomenon.
