In this study, the catechin structure was modified with Halogen and Nitrogen base at C-6 and C-8 Positions in Ring A. Pharmacokinetic parameters affirm the drug-likeness property of the designed compounds. Molecular Docking was performed for all the compounds towards the myostatin inhibition target (PDB: 3HH2). Such desirable quality of modified Catechin will create a spark in the novel drug discovery using acting as a bioenhancer. As a result, the present research is aimed to offer an overview of the structural simulation of Cl, F, I, NH, NO, and Br at C-6 and C-8 positions in A Ring A of Catechin. This preliminary evidence creates an impact on the novelsemi0synthetic drug discovery for the therapeutic management of sarcopenia.

Carbyne-related materials permit exploring the potentially extraordinary properties of this long-sought but still elusive carbon allotrope. However, accurate understanding of these materials is challenging. Here we report the crystal structure of a Au-pseudocarbyne, a representative of a possible new family of materials consisting of sp-hybridized carbon chains and stabilizing metal atoms.

The pristine Himalayas are sensitive to pollutants from different source regions, including its foothills that have adverse effects on air quality and climate. Despite this, there are no observations of aromatic hydrocarbons in the central Himalayas. Thus, online observations of aromatics (C-C, defined here as BTEX) were conducted for the first time at the mountain site (Nainital, 1958 m) in the central Himalayas during January 2017-December 2022 period.

This study investigates carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and chlorine isotope fractionation during the transformation of 3-chloroaniline (3-CA) via direct photolysis, TiO photocatalytic degradation at neutral condition and hydrolysis at pH 3, pH 7 and pH 11. Direct photolysis and ∙OH reaction (UV/HO) showed similar inverse isotope fractionation (ε) for carbon (1.9 ± 0.

Sodium dehydroacetate (DHA-Na), a widely used preservative, can induce sex-differentiated coagulation disorders primarily resulting from its metabolism. However, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we identified several Cytochrome P450 (CYP450) sub-enzymes involved in sex differences related to DHA-Na metabolism, along with two related DHA-Na metabolites.
