UF can severely compromise a woman's quality of life, thus making it an important health issue. In this podcast, a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Chicago (Dr. Ayman Al-Hendy) and the CEO of the Fibroid Foundation (Sateria Venable) provide their perspectives on the diagnosis and management of UF, including common treatments (e.g., myomectomy or hysterectomy).
