An iterative-based method for recovering the complex amplitude field behind scattering media is presented in this Letter. This method compensates the random phase modulation of scattering media by using multiple captured scattered light fields. Complex amplitude reconstruction with local iterative averaging of scattered light fields, and double weighted feedback is efficiently applied. Two feasible types of system setups, with varying detector positions and wavelength, are proposed. Simulations and proof-of-concept experiments are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in reconstructing complex amplitude of a hidden target.

Aim: Exposure to light at night and meal time misaligned with the light/dark (LD) cycle-typical features of daily life in modern 24/7 society-are associated with negative effects on health. To understand the mechanism, we developed a novel protocol of complex chronodisruption (CD) in which we exposed female rats to four weekly cycles consisting of 5-day intervals of constant light and 2-day intervals of food access restricted to the light phase of the 12:12 LD cycle.
Methods: We examined the effects of CD on behavior, estrous cycle, sleep patterns, glucose homeostasis and profiles of clock- and metabolism-related gene expression (using RT qPCR) and liver metabolome and lipidome (using untargeted metabolomic and lipidomic profiling).

Altered DNA dynamics at lesion sites are implicated in how DNA repair proteins sense damage within genomic DNA. Using laser temperature-jump (T-jump) spectroscopy combined with cytosine-analog Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) probes that sense local DNA conformations, we measured the intrinsic dynamics of DNA containing 3 base-pair mismatches recognized in vitro by Rad4 (yeast ortholog of XPC). Rad4/XPC recognizes diverse lesions from environmental mutagens and initiates nucleotide excision repair.

Transducers used in acoustic logging while drilling (ALWD) must be mounted on a drill collar, and their radiation performance is dependent on the employed mounting method. Herein, the complex transmitting voltage response of a while-drilling (WD) monopole acoustic source was calculated through finite-element harmonic-response analysis. Subsequently, the acoustic pressure waveform radiated by the source driven by a half-sine excitation voltage signal was calculated using the complex transmitting voltage response.

The boring and trepanning association (BTA) deep hole drilling with axial vibration assistance is a compound machining process of the tool cutting and the guide block extrusion.
