Introduction: Measuring social value has always been a challenge for organizations that generate such value, including foundations, NGOs, social enterprises, and governmental entities. Often, the benefits of these initiatives are perceived as intangible or long-term, making them difficult to quantify. Assessing social value demonstrates the impact of investments and accountability to stakeholders.

We reinvigorate vulnerability theory as a radically ethical device - ethical vulnerability analysis. We bring together fuller vulnerability analysis as theorized by Fineman and Grear in conversation with Levinas and Derrida's radical vulnerability and the ethics of hospitality to construct a theoretical framework that is firmly anchored in the realities of the everyday that are vulnerability and migration. This novel framework offers a thinking space to subvert approaches to migrants and migration as it compels us to come face-to face with the "other", which in turn renders the political accountable by her.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become crucial to businesses seeking to adopt sustainable development. However, there are several challenges to CSR adoption for sustainability that the present research aims to identify and evaluate, in addition to assessing the EU's response to these challenges. To this end, a novel picture fuzzy SWARA-TOPSIS method is proposed to rank EU countries after identifying the challenges that they face through a literature review.
