The versatile AC magnetic susceptibility technique offers a detailed insight into the complex electrodynamic phenomena in superconductors. In the present study, we outline the key effects related to the temperature, AC field amplitude and frequency variations of the fundamental and harmonic components for an investigation of the vortex dynamics in a flux-grown FeSe crystal. By means of higher harmonic (nonlinear) analysis, we have explored certain atypical, asymmetric features in the AC magnetic response. These effects were identified through the detection of an even (second) harmonic and an unusual temperature shift in the odd (third) harmonic, possibly due to the complex interactions related to the composite superconducting/magnetic morphology of the crystal. Using the high-frequency sensitivity of the third harmonic, the basic functional dependencies of the pinning activation energy, as the main mixed state parameter, were determined with the implementation of the Kim-Anderson Arrhenius relation in the framework of the collective creep theory.

This study highlights the importance of developing sensitive and selective sensors for use in pharmaceutical applications for the first time. A novel iron(III)-complex, constructed from unsymmetrical tetradentate NNN'O type Schiff base ligand (E)-3-((6-aminopyridin-2-yl)imino)-1-phenyl butane-1-one (LH) and its structure of it characterized by using various spectroscopic techniques such as FT-IR, UV-Vis, elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic susceptibility measurements and the TGA method. The correlation of all results revealed that the coordination of the (LH) with the metal ion in a molar ratio of 1:1 leads to the formation of an octahedral geometry around the metal ions.

Spin glass (SG), in which the spins are glassy, has attracted broad attention for theoretical study and prospective application. SG states are generally related to disordered or frustrated spin systems, which are usually observed in inorganic magnets. Herein, supramolecular magnetic ionic liquid (TMTBDI[FeCl]) self-assemblies are prepared by solution self-assembly via hydrophobic and π-π stacking interactions.

Distinguishing between Parkinson's disease (PD) and essential tremor (ET) can be challenging sometimes. Although positron emission tomography can confirm PD diagnosis, its application is limited by high cost and exposure to radioactive isotopes. Patients with PD exhibit loss of the dorsal nigral hyperintensity on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Identifying cell types and brain regions critical for psychiatric disorders and brain traits is essential for targeted neurobiological research. By integrating genomic insights from genome-wide association studies with a comprehensive single-cell transcriptomic atlas of the adult human brain, we prioritized specific neuronal clusters significantly enriched for the SNP-heritabilities for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder along with intelligence, education, and neuroticism. Extrapolation of cell-type results to brain regions reveals the whole-brain impact of schizophrenia genetic risk, with subregions in the hippocampus and amygdala exhibiting the most significant enrichment of SNP-heritability.
