The purpose of this study is to examine the pregestational BMI value that results in insulin use in Japanese patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and to assess whether the type of GDM treatment affects postpartum glucose tolerance. This retrospective study included 21 GDM patients treated until parturition at our department from 2013 to 2017. We calculated the pregestational BMI related to insulin treatment and the significant elevation in homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) by receiver operating characteristics curve (ROC) analysis.

Objective: The study aimed to provide clinical evidence regarding the perinatal management of HbH disease by comparing and analyzing blood routine, anemia characteristics, and their influence on pregnancy outcomes in patients with common deletional and non-deletional HbH disease at various pregnancy stages.
Patients And Methods: From May 2017 to October 2023, a comparative analysis was conducted on pregnant women undergoing treatment at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University and the Second Nanning People's Hospital. The study included 42 cases of deletional HbB disease and 32 cases of non-deletional HbH disease.
Background: Pregnant patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD) face increased risk of preeclampsia and preterm delivery, yet data is limited data regarding degree of risk and impact of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) on gestational age at delivery.
Objectives: To examine HDP risk and impact on delivery timing in patients with CVD.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients >18 years old who delivered between 10/1/2015 and 12/31/2020 using the Premier Healthcare Database.
