The genus is distinguished from other Macrosiphini genera (Aphididae, Aphidinae) because it has a supra-caudal process on abdominal tergite VIII which possesses two setae distally. It is Holarctic in distribution, and half of its species are Asian. The Chinese fauna of this genus, 17 species, have been restudied, morphologically and through DNA barcodes. As a result: Takahashi is transferred to ; Qiao & Xu, is described from specimens collected on and (Apiaceae); Zhang, Chen, Zhong & Li, and Zhang, Chen, Zhong & Li, are respectively junior synonyms of (Gillette & Bragg) and Takahashi; Zhang, Chen, Zhong & Li and Zhang are confirmed as valid species and complete descriptions are provided; Chakrabarti & Das, Basu, (Linnaeus), and Essig are recorded for the first time from China. Additionally, keys for species of known in China are provided and modifications to the key by Blackman and Eastop of aphid species on (Aphids on World's Plants) are presented.

Capturing CO is highly valued in the field of organic synthesis, especially underdeveloped dual-CO conversion. In this study, we detail a novel reductive cyclization of 2-indolylanilines with dual CO as a difunctional reagent in the presence of PMHS [poly(methylhydrosiloxane)], delivering methyl-substituted quinoxalines. Furthermore, another chemoselective cyclization with 2-pyrrolylanilines is also realized by converting mono-CO.

The cost-effective and scalable synthesis and patterning of soft nanomaterial composites with improved electrical conductivity and mechanical stretchability remains challenging in wearable devices. This work reports a scalable, low-cost fabrication approach to directly create and pattern crumpled porous graphene/NiS nanocomposites with high mechanical stretchability and electrical conductivity through laser irradiation combined with electrodeposition and a pre-strain strategy. With modulated mechanical stretchability and electrical conductivity, the crumpled graphene/NiS nanocomposite can be readily patterned into target geometries for application in a standalone stretchable sensing platform.

Wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) with a special arc mode of cold metal transfer pulse advanced (CMT-PADV) is an ideal additive manufacturing process for fabricating aerospace components, primarily high-strength aluminum alloys, offering advantages such as high deposition rates and low cost. However, the numerical simulation of the CMT-PADV WAAM process has not been researched until now. In this study, we first developed a three-dimensional fluid dynamics model for the CMT-PADV WAAM of 7075 aluminum alloy, aiming at analyzing the droplet transition and molten pool flow.
