The complex is reviewed and four new species are described from China: Cheng & Han, from Guangxi and Fujian provinces, Cheng & Han, from Hunan province, Xue & Han, from Hainan province, and Xue & Han, from Hubei and Shaanxi provinces. Illustrations of adults and genitalia of the new species and known species are presented, and the variations in the form of the aedeagus of are discussed.

2D materials are promising candidates for beyond-Si electronic devices. However, their stability is a key bottleneck in their industrial applications. The instability of 2D materials is mainly attributed to their intrinsic susceptibility to O and HO-particularly to reactive oxygen species (ROS), which have strong oxidizing properties.

Lactation is a complex physiological process, and the knowledge about the secretion of many milk components is limited. The objective of this study was to explore the secretory function of human mammary glands through a comparative analysis of common clinical indicators in serum and milk. Milk and serum samples were collected from lactating women simultaneously, and titers of common biochemical components were determined using an automated biochemical analyzer.

Ozone (O) poses serious health risks, prompting numerous countries to implement regulations that establish exposure limits and emission controls, for example, the air quality index (AQI) for O ranging from 50 to 150 parts per billion (ppb), with natural levels at around 30 ppb. Electrochemical sensors are favored for detecting pollutant gases due to their high sensitivity, low cost, portability, energy efficiency, and capability for selective detection. In this study, we developed an O sensor employing carbon-supported Pt-based binary and ternary nanorods (NRs) combined with room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) as electrolytes, aiming at highly sensitive and selective detection of O at ppb levels.

In the prokaryotic kingdom, protein phosphorylation serves as one of the most important posttranslational modifications (PTMs) and is involved in orchestrating a broad spectrum of biological processes. Here, we report an updated online server named the group-based prediction system for prokaryotic phosphorylation language model (GPS-pPLM), used for predicting phosphorylation sites (p-sites) in prokaryotes. For model training, two deep learning methods, a transformer and a deep neural network, were employed, and a total of 10 sequence features and contextual features were integrated.
