Objective: Rupture of blood blister-like aneurysm (BBA) of the internal carotid artery (ICA) may result in fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Open surgery including bypass surgery has been performed to treat the aneurysm. Recently, endovascular treatment is developing for the treatment of cerebral aneurysm. Here, we report a case of ruptured BBA of the ICA, treated by endovascular trapping and review the literatures.
Case Presentation: A 37-year-old woman was brought to our hospital to treat SAH. Computed tomography (CT) angiography showed no apparent cause of the hemorrhage except for the minor dilation of the C2 portion of the left ICA. After 3 days, the CT angiography demonstrated progression of the dilation with the formation of a bleb. Evaluating collateral circulation through anterior communicating artery, endovascular trapping of the ICA was performed. Although she suffered minor ischemic stroke postoperatively, the symptoms recovered completely and discharged without neurological deficit.
Review Of Literatures: we reviewed the 11 cases of ruptured BBA treated by endovascular trapping. The results of ICA occlusion based on the evaluation of collateral circulation were satisfactory because rebleeding as well as regrowth of the aneurysm were prevented. However, hemodynamic compromise and treatment for vasospasm following SAH are considered.
Conclusion: Rebleeding from BBA of the ICA should be prevented first and ischemic complication is avoided secondary. Endovascular trapping following evaluation of the collateral circulation is definitive treatment of BBA of the ICA.

Background And Importance: Fusiform middle cerebral artery (MCA) bifurcation aneurysms can be challenging to treat with standard endovascular or microsurgical techniques. The in situ side-to-side bypass technique represents an elegant revascularization option for these aneurysms when trapping becomes necessary.
Clinical Presentation: A man in his 50s presented for evaluation of an incidentally found fusiform, 10 mm, right MCA bifurcation aneurysm with involvement of both the inferior and superior M2 trunks.

A 46-year-old NF1 patient with sudden visual disturbance had a thrombotic vertebral artery aneurysm causing cerebral infarction. Endovascular internal trapping was performed successfully, with complete recovery and no neurological deficits. Although this is a rare case, it suggests that endovascular therapy could be successful for vascular lesions complicated by NF1.

Introduction: Since mechanical thrombectomy has allowed ischaemic stroke thrombus retrieval, the exhaustive study of this material has enabled better understanding of the potential physiopathological processes involved in thrombus formation.
Development: Thrombotic pathways involved in the different vascular beds share common mechanisms, causing difficulties in the identification of specific patterns associated with stroke aetiology. However, other factors such as clot formation time, associated inflammatory status, or activation of additional immune and coagulation pathways (neutrophil extracellular trap [NET] delivery, platelet aggregation, endothelial activation, and von Willebrand Factor release) have been described as determinants in thrombus characteristics.

Background Giant intracranial aneurysms (GIAs) require complex treatment strategies including clipping, coiling, stenting, parent artery occlusion, bypass, or combined procedures. Neurovascular hybrid operating rooms (h-OR) combine a conventional operating theatre with high-resolution digital subtraction angiography (DSA). We describe a one-step combined surgical and endovascular treatment in a h-OR for a paediatric internal carotid artery giant aneurysm that can be an optimal solution to manage challenging cases, such as giant aneurysms.
