To investigate the association between overt hepatic encephalopathy (OHE) and liver pathology after transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) creation in cirrhotic patients. From July 2015 to April 2024, 73 patients from 4 hospitals in China who received TIPS creation and liver biopsy were retrospectively enrolled in this study. Based on whether OHE occurred within 3 months after TIPS creation, the patients were categorized into OHE (n = 29) and non-OHE (n = 44) groups.

LSF is assessed using Tc macroaggregated albumin ( Tc-MAA) imaging, but this approach adds risk, complexity, and expense to the treatment planning. This study investigates the potential of Contrast-Enhanced Computed Tomography (CECT) as a non-invasive alternative for LSF estimation.

To evaluate the outcomes and predictive factors for fluid resolution following three loading injections of faricimab for neovascular age-related macular degeneration(AMD). This retrospective study included patients diagnosed with treatment-naïve neovascular AMD who received three monthly injections of faricimab. Changes in best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA) and central retinal thickness(CRT) following treatment were evaluated.

Background/aim: Angiogenesis imaging has been a valuable complement to metabolic imaging with 2-deoxy-2-[F]fluoroglucose (FDG).
