Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases can adversely affect the quality of sexual life and marital satisfaction for both patients and their spouses. Method: This two-group randomized clinical trial study with a parallel design was conducted in 2024 in Urmia, Iran.

Beating-heart CABG in patients with LV dysfunction can provide the best of all words by limiting myocardial injury purported by cardioplegic arrest. Complete revascularization is possible and graft numbers are not different when compared to arrested heart CABG. Furthermore, beating-heart CABG more often reduces the need for intraoperative and postoperative mechanical support reducing the complications and costs associated with these devices.

Background: In patients with secondary tricuspid regurgitation (STR), right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF) may not accurately reflect the actual RV systolic performance since a considerable amount of the RV stroke volume (SV) is regurgitated back into the right atrium. To overcome this limitation, we explored the association with the outcome of the effective RVEF (eRVEF), which accounts for the tricuspid regurgitant volume (RegVol).
Methods: 513 patients with STR (mean age 75±13 years, 39% atrial STR, 58% severe) underwent complete two-, three-dimensional, and Doppler echocardiography.
