The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into new approach methods (NAMs) for toxicology rep-resents a paradigm shift in chemical safety assessment. Harnessing AI appropriately has enormous potential to streamline validation efforts. This review explores the challenges, opportunities, and future directions for validating AI-based NAMs, highlighting their transformative potential while acknowledging the complexities involved in their implementation and acceptance.

Behavioral dysfunctions in dogs represent one of the main social concerns, since they can endanger animals and human-dog relationship. Together with the trigger stimulus (human, animal, place, scent, auditory stimuli, objects), dogs can experience stressful conditions, either in multiple settings or unique situations, more often turning into generalized fear. Such a dysfunctional behavior can be associated with genetic susceptibility, environmental factors, traumatic experiences, and medical conditions.

Background: This study investigates the prevalence and intensity of parasitic infections in animal fecal samples collected from Sitio Ibayo, San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines, a suburban community considered a potential sentinel site for zoonotic disease surveillance.
Methods: Using cross-sectional sampling, 132 animal fecal samples were collected in the area exhaustively. Samples were processed through direct smear with saline solution and Lugol's iodine and flotation technique using mini- and fill-FLOTAC.

Marijuana poisoning in canines is still considered a taboo topic. Poisoning in pets is becoming increasingly common, in many cases resulting in severe clinical signs, such as ataxia, urinary incontinence, mydriasis, depression, and hyperesthesia. Colombia does not have any reliable test for the diagnosis of exposure to cannabis in animals, and it is not an obligation to report this kind of poisoning to the authorities.
