Objective: To propose the development and validation of criteria for evaluating the clinical performance of indirect restorations, considering the variables related to the operator, material, and/or patient.

Materials And Methods: The experimental design of this study was divided into three stages. Stage 1: development of the new criteria items by specialists in Prosthodontics. Step 2: creation of the criteria, named UERJ criteria, with the description of the parameters that indicate the quality of the restoration, the possible associated complications, and a detailed description of each classification. As well as the development of a form of variables. Step 3: validation of the UERJ criteria.

Results: Cohen's Kappa statistic registered for both intra- and inter-examiner agreements a coefficient >0.91 with a p-value <0.0001. The validity of the UERJ criteria was evaluated by tests of sensitivity (0.96) and specificity (0.91) and had a satisfactory accuracy (92.7%), a positive (10.99), and negative (0.05) likelihood ratio and high values predictive variables, with positive (PPV) 0.84 (high specificity) and negative (VPN) 0.98 (high sensitivity), with a confidence interval of 95%.

Conclusion: The UERJ criteria is a valid instrument for evaluating the clinical performance of indirect restorations.

Clinical Significance: The UERJ criteria, developed exclusively for the analysis of indirect restorations, elucidates the details necessary to identify the causes of failures and complications of these restorations.

Background: Conservative dentistry introduced modern restoration designs, contributing to the greater use of partial-coverage ceramic restorations. New strong bondable ceramic materials made fabricating partial coverage ceramic restorations easier to restore the badly destructed teeth.

Aim Of The Study: This study investigated the impact of three distinct overlay preparation designs on the marginal fit (both before and after thermal aging) and the fracture resistance of overlay restorations fabricated using advanced zirconia-reinforced lithium disilicate (ALD) CAD/CAM glass-ceramic blocks.

Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Istanbul Medeniyet University, Goztepe Education and Research Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey.

Childhood trauma can disrupt one's sense of the meaning of life. Forgiveness can be an important strategy in restoring the meaning of life and gaining a new meaning. In this context, the present study aims to test the theoretical model evaluating the hypothesis that forgiveness repairs the meaning of life deteriorated after traumas and makes positive contributions.

The carbon emissions of three typical processes (AAO, MSBR, and oxidation ditch) were systematically analyzed from the perspective of the whole wastewater treatment process based on the annual data of eleven urban small and medium-scale WWTPs in the year 2022, and the effects of different influent characteristics (TP, TN, BOD, COD, influent volume, and COD/TN) on the carbon emissions were studied by using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that indirect carbon emissions dominated the total carbon emissions of small and medium-scale WWTPs (69.5%), and carbon emissions from electricity consumption were the largest source (43.

New era of plasma dentistry.

Free Radic Res

Department of Pathology and Biological Responses, Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, Nagoya, Japan.

Plasma, which was coined by Irving Langmuir in 1928, is the fourth physical state after the solid/liquid/gas phases. Low-temperature plasma (LTP) is a contradictory condition that involves high energy with free radicals at near-body temperatures and was developed through engineering in the 1990's. Research on LTP in engineering and medical fields has rapidly developed since the 2000's.
