Background: Individuals with co-occurring posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and HIV are at high-risk for negative HIV-related outcomes, including low adherence to antiretroviral therapy, faster disease progression, more hospitalizations, and almost twice the rate of death. Despite high rates of PTSD in persons with HIV (PWH) and poor HIV-related health outcomes associated with PTSD, an effective evidence-based treatment for PTSD symptoms in PWH does not exist.
Objective: This study aimed to describe the adaptation and theater testing of an evidence-based intervention designed for people with co-occurring PTSD and HIV.

Rationale: Retained rectal foreign bodies (RFBs) are unusual clinical presentations whose management is challenging for emergency physicians owing to variations in the object types, anorectal anatomy, sacral curvature, insertion times, and local contamination. Here, we present the diagnosis and treatment in 1 case of retained rectal foreign body.
Patient Concerns: A 62-year-old male presented to the emergency department with a cosmetic bottle inserted into the rectum while bathing.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of tuck acupuncture combined with facial acupuncture for facial cosmetology.
Methods: A total of 22 female patients with symptoms of facial aging were treated with tuck acupuncture combined with facial acupuncture. Stuck acupuncture was applied at bilateral Taiyang (EX-HN5) through Xiaguan (ST7), Jiache (ST6) through Daying (ST5) and Yingxiang (LI20)，once a week.

The goals of this study are to analyze OR nurses and surgical technologists' experiences and their current level of sharps education. An anonymous survey was sent to a single institution asking whether the participants have been stuck by a sharp, when they were stuck, and their perspective on sharp safety.
