Midline Anterior Neck Inclusion Cysts (MANICs) are rare congenital anomalies caused by improper embryonic fusion. These superficial benign lesions typically appear yellowish and cystic without deeper anatomic connections. We describe an 11-month-old boy with a stable, asymptomatic, yellow, elastic cystic lesion on the midline of the anterior neck, measuring 4 mm and present since shortly after birth.

Introduction: Ultraviolet-induced fluorescence dermoscopy (UVF dermoscopy) is a novel diagnostic technique for identifying and diagnosing numerous skin tumors, inflammatory dermatoses, and infectious diseases. The ultraviolet (UV) band has a wavelength ranging from 10 to 400 nm. When intense UV radiation with shorter wavelengths strikes a target chromophore, visible light (VL) with a longer wavelength and lower energy is produced in the skin.

Alopecia universalis (AU) is a severe form of alopecia areata characterized by the complete loss of scalp and body hair. While Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors like baricitinib have shown promise in promoting hair regrowth in severe cases of AU, unexpected side effects, such as hair depigmentation, have not been widely reported. We present the case of a young male with AU who experienced progressive and extensive whitening of his scalp and body hair following treatment with baricitinib.
