Protein-protein interactions are often mediated by a modular peptide recognition domain binding to a short linear motif (SLiM) in the disordered region of another protein. To understand the features of SLiMs that are important for binding and to identify motif instances that are important for biological function, it is useful to examine the evolutionary conservation of motifs across homologous proteins. Background: The absolute overall survival (OS) improvement with preoperative chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients is controversial and unsatisfactory. We designed this trial to explore the efficacy and safety of perioperative sintilimab plus platinum-based chemotherapy for potentially resectable stage IIIB NSCLC to facilitate further optimization of this therapeutic strategy.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with stage IIIB NSCLC through invasive staging approaches and/or PET/CT scans and evaluated as having a high probability of radical resection of the primary lesion and metastatic lymph nodes with clear pathological margins by a multidisciplinary team were enrolled in this open-label, single-arm, phase II trial at a single centre in China.
Purpose: Camrelizumab and rivoceranib together provide a new first-line treatment approach for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Meanwhile, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is an effective method for the local control of the HCC. Material And Methods: Between September 2017 and January 2020, all patients with vaginal stump recurrence after radical hysterectomy of cervical cancer treated with vaginal stump brachytherapy using Freiburg flap as vaginal applicator with or without free-hand interstitial needles were retrospective analyzed. Characteristics related to patients and treatment modality as well as preliminary outcomes and side effects were investigated.
