Herein, we report the total syntheses of phleghenrines A and C from commercially available starting materials in 7 and 8 steps, respectively. Notable steps include an inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction between a masked -benzoquinone and a -protected enamine to prepare one key intermediate with a bicyclo[2.2.2]octenone core, a Büchner-Curtius-Schlotterbeck one-carbon insertion to expand the bicyclo[2.2.2]octenone to a bicyclo[3.2.2]nonenone, and Trauner's modified 2-pyridone synthesis to install the 2-pyridone moiety.

Background: Children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD) may have participation restrictions; however, there is little information about the specific characteristics of the participation of children with this condition. Given the relevance of participation as an outcome of physiotherapeutic interventions, the objective of this study was to provide a broad review of studies on participation in children with DCD.
Methods: We mapped the literature using a scoping review, through the MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL and Web of Science databases to identify studies on participation in children with DCD published between 2001 and 2021.

The first total synthesis of phenylethanoid glycosides parvifloroside A 1 and crassifolioside 2 is disclosed, achieving excellent 31 % and 33 % overall yield, respectively. The synthesis exploited the inherent reactivity differences among the free hydroxyl groups on 4-O-caffeoyl glucopyranoside 3 intermediate, enabling regioselective caffeoylation and rhamnosylation. The key to the synthesis is using chiral 4-pyrrolidinopyridine organocatalyst 6 to achieve the regioselective caffeoylation and migration of acyl groups.
