Unlabelled: The present study examines the potential of the Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) as a measure for the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTop) model. Two structural models were evaluated. In Model 1, the SCL-90-R dimensions were allocated to somatoform (comprising somatization), internalizing (comprising obsessive-compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, and phobic anxiety), and antagonistic disinhibited (comprising hostility) spectra.

Objectives: Quality of life (QoL) is directly associated with physical-psychological well-being, family and environmental factors in patients with Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS). The present study aims to investigate the factors affecting QoL in both MPS patients and their caregivers.
Methods: The sociodemographic characteristics, clinical findings, and special needs of 37 patients with MPS were questioned, among which 28 pediatric patients were evaluated for QoL using the KINDL-parents scale.

Background: Smoking is still the largest preventable health risk in Germany, which is why a higher success rate in smoking cessation would benefit both public and individual health. In order to achieve this, a better understanding of the smoking cessation methods used and the factors that facilitate and prevent smoking cessation is required. The RauS study therefore aimed to investigate which methods have been used in attempts to stop smoking, how successful these methods have been, and which factors have been perceived as helping or hindering smoking cessation.

Background: The reference frameworks that have been developed for the first time by the Specialist Committee in accordance with Sect. 53 of the German Nursing Professions Act follow a new didactic-curricular structure and are intended to support the nursing schools in creating their own curricular documents.
Research Question/objective: The commissioned study investigated hindering and promoting factors in the implementation of reference frameworks at nursing schools.
