Description Community health is vital to increase the lifespan and quality of life of the people on our planet. We must unite to fight disease through education and implementing quality healthcare. This piece was created prior to the pandemic, but its message is so incredibly pertinent in these troubling times. We must encourage patients and one another to take precautions such as wearing masks and getting vaccines in order to reduce the morbidity and mortality of COVID-19.

Objectives: This study aims to explore the perceptions of patients affected by COVID-19 and their families regarding the challenges faced, coping strategies used and lessons learnt in Pakistan.
Design: A qualitative exploratory descriptive approach was used to explore the real-time experiences of the participants.

Background: Collaborative partnerships are crucial for strengthening nursing education and practice, particularly in rapidly changing healthcare environments. Promoting collaborative academic-clinical partnerships that encourage unity of purpose among partners improves shared decision-making, enhances undergraduate education, and advances patient care.
