Canonical quantization has created many valid quantizations that require infinite-line coordinate variables. However, the half-harmonic oscillator, which is limited to the positive coordinate half, cannot receive a valid canonical quantization because of the reduced coordinate space. Instead, affine quantization, which is a new quantization procedure, has been deliberately designed to handle the quantization of problems with reduced coordinate spaces. Following examples of what affine quantization is, and what it can offer, a remarkably straightforward quantization of Einstein's gravity is attained, in which a proper treatment of the positive definite metric field of gravity has been secured.

Interferometric radiometers operating at L-band, such as ESA's SMOS mission, enable crucial Earth observations providing high-resolution measurements of soil moisture, ocean salinity, and other geophysical parameters. However, the increasing electromagnetic spectrum utilization has led to significant Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) challenges, particularly critical given the sensors' fine temperature resolution requirements of less than 1 K. This work presents the hardware implementation of an advanced RFI detection and mitigation algorithm specifically designed for interferometric radiometers, targeting future L-band missions.

A critical issue in image analysis for analyzing animal behavior is accurate object detection and tracking in dynamic and complex environments. This study introduces a novel preprocessing algorithm to bridge the gap between computational efficiency and segmentation fidelity in object-based image analysis for machine learning applications. The algorithm integrates convolutional operations, quantization strategies, and polynomial transformations to optimize image segmentation in complex visual environments, addressing the limitations of traditional pixel-level and unsupervised methods.

We introduce a time-energy uncertainty relation within the context of restarts in monitored quantum dynamics. Previous studies have established that the mean recurrence time, which represents the time taken to return to the initial state, is quantized as an integer multiple of the sampling time, displaying pointwise discontinuous transitions at resonances. Our findings demonstrate that the natural utilization of the restart mechanism in laboratory experiments, driven by finite data collection time spans, leads to a broadening effect on the transitions of the mean recurrence time.

This study estimates agricultural soil variables using a non-parametric machine learning technique based on Lipschitz interpolation. This method is adapted for the first time to learn spatio-temporal dynamics, accounting for two-dimensional spatial and one temporal coordinate inputs separately. The estimator is validated on real agricultural data, addressing challenges like measurement noise and quantization.
