The noncentrosymmetric superconductor RuBhas in previous studies demonstrated remarkably unusual behaviour in its vortex lattice (VL), where the nearest neighbour directions of the vortices dissociate from the crystal lattice and instead show a complex field-history dependence, and the VL rotates as the field is changed. In this study, we look at the VL form factor of RuBduring this field-history dependence, to check for deviations from established models, such as the London model. We find that the data is well described by the anisotropic London model, which is in accordance with theoretical predictions that the alterations to the structure of the vortices due to broken inversion symmetry should be small. From this, we also extract values for the penetration depth and coherence length.

Luteinizing hormone (LH), along with its agonist choriongonadotropin (hCG) in humans, is the key hormone responsible for the tropic regulation of the gonadal function. LH and hCG act through their cognate receptor, the luteinizing hormone/choriongonadotropin receptor (LHCGR; more appropriately LHR in rodents lacking CG), located in the testis in Leydig cells and in the ovary in theca, luteal, and luteinizing granulosa cells. Low levels in LHCGR are also expressed in numerous extragonadal sites.

Background: Vascular calcification is a detrimental aging pathology markedly accelerated in patients with chronic kidney disease. Prelamin A is a biomarker of vascular smooth muscle cell aging that accelerates calcification however the mechanisms remain undefined.
Methods: Vascular smooth muscle cells were transduced with prelamin A using an adenoviral vector and epigenetic modifications were monitored using immunofluorescence and targeted polymerase chain reaction array.

The societal shift toward greater gender equality has led to increased variability in people's gender role attitudes, or the belief that men and women should occupy distinct family roles (i.e. men as breadwinners and women as homemakers).

Several studies explored the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based rectal cancer (RC) staging, but a comprehensive evaluation remains lacking. This systematic review aims to review the performance of AI models in MRI-based RC staging. PubMed and Embase were searched from the inception of the database till October 2024 without any language and year restrictions.

Introduction: Validated models describing the biomechanics of tooth extraction are scarce. This study seeks to perform experimental and numerical characterization of vertical tooth extraction biomechanics in swine incisors with imposed vertical extraction loads. Imaging analysis related mechanical outcomes to tooth geometry and applied loading rate.
