Background: Patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC) undergoing spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for arousal treatment require an assessment of their conscious state before and after the procedure. This is typically evaluated using behavioral scales (CRS-R), but this method can be influenced by the subjectivity of the physician. Event-related potentials (ERP) and EEG power spectrum are associated with the recovery of consciousness.

Purpose: Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) and oblique lumbar interbody fusion (OLIF) are the most commonly conducted operations for interbody fusions. In addition to fusion, the restoration of proper spinal alignment has become crucial for achieving favorable functional outcomes. There is a lack of agreement on which lumbar interbody fusion technique provides the most effective correction for sagittal spinopelvic parameters (SSPs).

Heatwaves pose a range of severe impacts on human health, including an increase in premature mortality. The summers of 2018 and 2022 are two examples with record-breaking temperatures leading to thousands of heat-related excess deaths in Europe. Previous studies have demonstrated that many healthcare workers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) lack the appropriate training and knowledge to recognize and diagnose breast cancer at an early stage. As a result, women in LMICs are frequently diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer (Stage III/IV) with a poor prognosis. We hosted a 1-day breast cancer educational conference directed towards healthcare workers in Honduras.

Despite the widespread exploration and availability of parcellations for the functional connectome, parcellations designed for the structural connectome are comparatively limited. Current research suggests that there may be no single "correct" parcellation and that the human brain is intrinsically a multiresolution entity. In this work, we propose the Continuous Structural Connectivitity-based, Nested (CoCoNest) family of parcellations-a fully data-driven, multiresolution family of parcellations derived from structural connectome data.
