Background: To expand the donor pool, medical centers worldwide are applying marginal donor lungs in clinical settings. We carried out this research to reveal the short-term and long-term outcomes of marginal lung donor transplantation.
Methods: We performed retrospective research using data from patients who underwent lung transplantation (LT) in The Affiliated Wuxi People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Jiangsu Province, China, between 2018 and 2022 to compare the short-term and long-term outcomes of standard donors and marginal donors.

This article is a patient view of how the future pharmacy could play a key role in devolving routine care for minor ailments and management of long-term conditions. As someone with three long-term conditions, I see an expanded role for pharmacies in supporting me to manage them effectively, filling a major gap: someone to see me and my medications regimen as a whole. A comprehensive national future pharmacies transformation programme is key to NHS sustainability.

Objectives: Patients' outcomes and experiences can be affected by rheumatologist knowledge and awareness of systemic sclerosis (SSc). Our survey, directed at UK-based rheumatologists, aimed to expand our understanding of the above points along with their ability to keep up to date with guidelines defining best practice.
Methods: Rheumatologists were invited to participate in an online survey, with the results analysed and presented descriptively and graphically by SRUK.

Attention is key to perception and human behavior, and evidence shows that it periodically samples sensory information (<20Hz). However, this view has been recently challenged due to methodological concerns and gaps in our understanding of the function and mechanism of rhythmic attention. Here we used an intensive ∼22-hour psychophysical protocol combined with reverse correlation analyses to infer the neural representation underlying these rhythms.
