Background: In Sri Lanka, there is some evidence that the likelihood of breastfeeding initiation varies by exposure to Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative [BFHI]-compliant care and mode of birth. Globally, there is some evidence that exposure to mother-baby skin-to-skin contact (BFHI Step 4) is lower in caesarean section births. Therefore, we aimed to determine how breastfeeding initiation varies by mode of birth in Sri Lanka, and the extent to which women's exposure to BFHI practices explains any associations found.

A recent study (Wen et al., Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance, 50: 934-941, 2024) found no influence of relative word-length on transposed-word effects. Statement Of Problem: Intraoral scans can be articulated in maximum intercuspal position (MIP) by using an artificial intelligence (AI) based program; however, the impact of edentulous areas on the accuracy of the MIP located using this AI-based program is unknown.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to assess the impact of edentulous areas (0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 posterior mandibular teeth) on the accuracy of the MIP located using 3 intraoral scanners (IOSs) and an AI-based program.
Material And Methods: Stone casts articulated in MIP in an articulator were digitized (T710).

Introduction: Soft tissue defect in the lower limb presents as a difficult reconstructive challenge. Cross-leg flap was routinely used in the past for the salvage of the lower limb but is seldom used nowadays due to advances in microsurgical procedures.
Case Presentation: We present a case of an 18-year-old male who presented with a complex soft tissue defect of 25 × 10 cm on the anterolateral aspect of the right leg following a motor vehicle accident.
