Introduction: Prostate motion during external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) is common and typically managed using fiducial markers and cone beam CT (CBCT) scans for inter-fractional motion correction. However, real-time intra-fractional motion management is less commonly implemented. This study evaluated the extent of intra-fractional prostate motion using transperineal ultrasound (TPUS) and examined the impact of treatment time on prostate motion.

Objectives: To investigate the correlation between 3-dimensional ultrasonography parameters and pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) and its application value in diagnosis and treatment.
Methods: Ninety-two patients with PFD and 22 without who underwent 3-dimensional ultrasonography were selected. Transperineal 3-dimensional ultrasonography was performed by Voluson E8 colour Doppler ultrasonography to analyse the anteroposterior diameter (LHAD), transverse diameter (LHLD), pelvic diaphragmatic hiatus area (LHA), and bladder neck mobility (BND) of the patients.

Background: Obstetric anal injury is the main risk factor for traumatic anal, faecal and flatus, incontinence in women in reproductive age. Its recognition and good reparation are crucial for long term outcomes.
Case Report: We report a case of a nulliparous woman who reported a fourth-degree perineal tear after delivery.

Transperineal laser ablation is a minimally invasive thermo-ablative treatment for prostate cancer that requires the insertion of a needle for accurate optical fiber positioning. Needle insertion in soft tissues may cause tissue motion and deformation, resulting in tissue damage and needle positioning errors. In this study, we present a wasp-inspired self-propelled needle that uses pneumatic actuation to move forward with zero external push force, thus avoiding large tissue motion and deformation.

Objectives: To assess the feasibility of acquiring adequate transperineal ultrasound (TPUS) volumes of the anal sphincter (AS) immediately after vaginal birth, the reproducibility of its measurements, and detecting defects therein.
Methods: Secondary analysis of TPUS volumes of the AS, acquired immediately after vaginal birth with a transversely oriented convex probe. Two independent experts ranked off-line image quality as "inadequate," "adequate," or "ideal" using the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Image Quality scale.
