Introduction: The Corona pandemic caused far-reaching changes since 2020. We wanted to find out which factors determined the psycho-social well-being of cancer patients during the pandemic.
Methods: From May to July 2021, structured interviews were conducted concerning lockdown, social limitations, the virus itself, the treatment situation, and opportunities.
Results: Twenty people took part in the study (doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, patients). One of the most important aspects was the ban on visits. Others were the fear of infection and the possibility of vaccination. Wearing a mask seem to have been worse for the experts. Conflicts in families about the "right" behavior to protect yourself from infection have been a stressful issue for patients, just as the lack of balance and recreation in free time.
Conclusion: Patients in the third wave of corona have become accustomed to the rules. Especially loneliness and the organization of time at home are psycho-social stress factors.

The recent COVID-19 pandemic has set a strong quest for advanced understanding of possible tracks in abating and eliminating viral infections. In the view that several families of "pristine" small oxide nanoparticles (NPs) have demonstrated viricidal activity against SARS-CoV-2, we studied the effect of two NPs, with presumably different reactivity, on two viruses aiming to evaluate two "primary suspect" routes of their antiviral activity, either specific blocking of surface proteins or causing membrane disruption. The chosen NPs were non-photoactive 3.

As a result, there has been a decline in cancer screening and detection. However, it is uncertain how many more cancer cases among routine outpatients have been detected recently.

Background: In recent years, there has been a growing number of case reports documenting delayed seroma in patients with a history of breast surgery and reconstruction. The occurrence of these seromas has been associated with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection or SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. So far, there are few systematic analyses on postoperative complications in breast surgery since the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Since the corona pandemic, there has been more distrust towards the government and official institutions, more people are attracted to conspiracy theories and society has become more polarized. This increased distrust is also reflected in doctors' consulting rooms. It can be specifically aimed at medical interventions, the prescription of medication and the use of vaccinations, but also more broadly at the doctor as a representative of the established order.

Background: The role of cortical networks in health anxiety remain poorly understood. This study aimed to develop a predictive model for health anxiety, using a machine-learning approach based on resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) with functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
Method: One hundred and four university students experiencing school disclosure due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 pandemic participated in the study, and the final sample consisted of 90 participants.
